One of the greatest instrumental love songs I’ve ever heard; Michael Brook’s percussive guitar harmonics, tremolos, and punchy melodies both contrast and compliment Djivan Gasparyan’s lilting duduk lines. From the liner notes:

“I wish you were a flower in my garden. I wish you were a bird flying over my garden. I wish you were with me, my love. Stay with me, don’t cause me too much pain. You may take my heart away if you wish, only please don’t leave me. Stay with me and I will do anything for you.”

The English translation might not fully convey the beauty of the song, but hopefully the music will :]

Found on the 1998 album, Black Rock.

  1. there is a song, I don’t know if it is from Djivan… it is like a remix, and two instruments are playing… duduk and harmonika. 4-5 years ago the song was famous… it was played in all the clubs… a don’t what it’s called that the problem, and the song is really nice :((

  2. Extra-ordinary ,enchanting combind music with the magic Douduk of master Djivan Gasparyan
and the fantastic percussive guitar of Michael Brook.
