This piece is “Shogher Jan” or “Beloved Shogher”. Shogher is a girl’s name translated “Rays” as in rays of light. Lots of emotion here, extreme joy at the start/end and a slow romantic, almost solemn theme in the middle. Love the contrast of fellings portrayed. God Bless Gomidas!
