Does anyone here know how to play the duduk? For example, while playing it such as in this song, there is always the hummm of the tonic key in the background (in this case, an A flat or G# constantly humming behind the haunting melody). Kind of like a bagpipe, where you constantly hear a B flat humming in the background (or whatever key it’s in). But how does a duduk maintain that hum and be able to make a melody at the same time? It really touches the soul.
